As you may already be aware, Aberdeenshire Council is working with Dougall Baillie Associates and JBA Consulting to evaluate flood risk within Insch.
They are holding a public engagement event in the form of a ‘drop-in information session’, to be held in the Mither Tap meeting room of the Bennachie Centre on Monday 7th October and would appreciate input from both the local community and other stakeholders, on the preferred flood protection option being considered.
Please drop in any time between 3.00pm and 7.00pm, when there will be representatives from both DBA / JBA Consulting and Aberdeenshire Council on hand to provide further information on the flood study and to talk through the potential flood protection option with drawings / posters on display.
This will be the final opportunity to provide comments on the preferred option prior to submission for consideration by the Scottish Government.
We hope as many people as possible attend the event and please pass on word of this invite to anyone who may be also be interested.
