The public consultation on the Proposed Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan 2021 is now underway. This 10-year Plan represents the “settled view” of Aberdeenshire Council. It sets out the policies to be used in the planning application process and it proposes land allocations for development between 2021 and 2031. For the next eight weeks, communities, developers and other interested parties have a chance to have their say.
Representations should be received by 5pm on 17 July 2020.
They have also prepared a Response Form, which is available online or on request.

To accompany the Proposed Aberdeenshire Local Development Plan 2020 and to ensure it will not have a significant negative impact on people and the environment, Aberdeenshire Council have published the Strategic Environmental Assessment Environment Report. You can comment on this document until 17 July 2020. It can be viewed online here.
