There is a proposal to build 10 wind turbines at the end of the Gordon Way on the Correen Hills. The height of these turbines to the blade tip are 8@200m and 2@180m tall. The Bennachie, Donside and Tap O’Noth Community Councils have been working jointly to survey local residents on what their views were on the proposed development following the publicised local consultation events in November 2024. An independent survey was carried out to find out the views of the people living in the area. Residents were asked to fill out the questionnaire whether they were for or against the proposal to allow the Community Councils to represent their constituents’ views. Four hundred and five people responded throughout the three Community Council Areas. The results are below
